Auckland-based GoodFor, which sells bulk products to customers who bring their own jars and boxes, is moving to Christchurch and opening a Wellington shop in November. GoodFor goes beyond the plastic bag ban and sells food and other household items by weight, decanted into customers’ BYO packaging. The package-free grocery store is “essentially about reducing waste – instead of going to a supermarket and just re-purchasing packaging every single time, you can just keep the container and keep refilling it.
