Congratulations to our RecycleKiwi Ambassadors Sam and Ben O’Dea, who won the Mauao Cup Beach Volleyball men’s final, after a nail-biting tie-breaker.
The O’Dea brothers met with stiff competition in their opponents Alani Nicklin and Tom Hartles in what was a really exciting game to watch!
The final wrapped up the New Zealand Beach Volleyball Tour, with Sam and Ben having won every event (the exception being the Mauao Super Slam when Mike Watson stood in for Ben who was resting).

Bronze medalists at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, Sam and Ben will be heading overseas soon to start training for Olympic selection.
